Clarks Castle Hire LTD- Terms & Conditions

Please be sure to read carefully as you will be required to sign upon receipt of equipment.

Do not hire if you do not agree.

 Delivery is free within 10 miles of our location EX4 8EP Sorry we are unable to travel much further during weekends however this may be possible during the week days, please check if you aren`t sure. Charges may apply over 10 miles.

We have made the really difficult decision to currently only provide indoor hire equipment all year round unless  agreeing to in advance.

 We are able to take bookings 7 days a week , Please be aware that because we only provide equipment for children`s parties our typical working hours are between 8am-6.30pm and have to work around school runs during the week. All setups take approx 10mins-45 minutes to setup and pack away, please take this time into consideration when booking venue times. We can only deliver equipment to a suitably sized open spaces and we do not have time to remove furniture/etc. Please leave or allow adequate parking space at your home or venue for delivery and collection times, we cannot park on yellow lines or places that are unsafe or too far away from the venue. All prices are Based on a full 3 hours hire with additional time allowed for setup and pack away either side of this. Extra hours and date rates are available on request. Be sure to allow at least a 4ft space around all outer edges of all the equipment. 

****We DO NOT allow face paint on any of our

equipment******

Face paint can stain very expensive equipment and the person hiring will be responsible for a cleaning charge or replacement and loss or earnings if damaged. We also ask that all equipment is left as clean as it was dropped off, no streamers, confetti, silly string, party poppers and that all spills are wiped down. 

Please be sure to remove shoes, sharps, glasses, jewellery and badges before use, for hygiene reasons we do recommend that users keep socks on. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, ensuring the safety of the children using any of the equipment on hire to you. Clarks Castle hire LTD do not supervise or accept any liability for any accidents or injuries that occur whilst the equipment is on hire to you. All equipment is checked upon setup/collection to maintain safety, and we reccommend that you also check all equipment over upon setup and before signing our hire agreement.​ 

All of our equipment is made for the use of children only. 

Adults should not use any of the equipment at any time.

Adults who bounce or use our castles at any time can cause damage and the hirer will be responsible for any damage, replacement or loss of earnings. Ensure that no one with a history of bad back, neck problems or any child that is feeling unwell also uses the equipment. We strongly advise that all hirers take out public Liability insurance to cover any injuries or damage to equipment whilst its on hire to you. 

 

Soft Play & Ball pools **Ball pools are suitable for children aged 5 and under- we do ask that all balls are in back in the ball pool at the end of your hire, to make collection and pack away easier especially when you have a time limit to leave your hall hire.

*** Soft play is for children aged 5 and under only. We politely ask that all children including adults who are assisting remove shoes before using the soft play. Under no circumstance must heels be worn on the matted area. We ask parents of older children to please make sure they are respectful of the equipment and to keep it all within the matted area and clean any spills or food straight away.

Please do not sit on the edges of the soft play ball pool it does put pressure on the velcro walls.

Bouncy Castles***All  children`s bouncy castles are for children only (no taller than the inside walls whilst stood on the inflatable) please keep entrance and exit steps at the front clear at all times. Please check user limits on each inflatable as they will vary depending on height of user. No overcrowding, back flips and climbing up the side or back walls. 

 

Please note that only our staff are allowed to erect or move the inflatable equipment. Never turn the fan off whilst inflatable is in use.

 

​Outside use Please make sure the inflatable is on your property only and not shared/council owned ground this would result in an instant cancellation with NO refund. For anyone booking for outdoor use please make sure we have the relevant amount a plug sockets needed within a 25metre distance, the entrance to your property is FREE & EASY we will not go through your property. A few stairs is not a problem but anymore than that please check with us before booking in as our castles are heavy and we do move them around on a sack trucks we will not carry them up stairs. Please be honest about access as if property is difficult to get to we will leave without setting up your inflatable and you will not get a refund. 

To cover the risk of any problems pictures of you garden and access from parking area maybe asked for. Please wear socks as during hotter weather the surface can become quite hot. Do not under any circumstances pour water or use a hose pipe on the equipment, it can effect electricals, cause accidents and cause massive delays with collection. We expect to find the inflatable in a considerably clean condition like it was dropped off. Bouncy Castles will need to be setup on a flat Grassed area (not on a hill/slope) all castles need to be pegged into the ground and we cannot take any responsibility for damaged caused whilst doing this. We cannot place on concrete, decking or fake lawn or mud. Please make sure the area is cleaned down in advance of any dog mess and the area is checked for anything that could cause damage. Please keep all pets, Bbq`s and people smoking away from the equipment. We work to very tight deadlines on setups and if the area is not ready or clear, we will not be able setup. If the ground is too soft or muddy from bad weather leading up to your hire date and we cannot secure pegs we will also cancel. Please note that that sometimes a castle will have a small amount of grass on it from last use, we will always do our best to remove this.

 

Weather - We reserve all rights to cancel a booking if weather conditions are not suitable.​​For the safety of children bouncy castles should not be used in rain or winds (including gust of 24mph and over)If the forecast shows expected gusts of over 24mph on the day of your party or rain we will cancel for safety reasons, It is not worth the risk and we have to put your children`s safety 1st.  We will always try to give as much notice as possibly in these occasions but sometimes this may happen last minute if forecast`s change. I can understand in these circumstances how upsetting this can be, however our Insurance will not cover if any accidents occur nor would we be doing our job correctly. Just to add the good old British weather is sometimes very unpredictable, we currently use the Met office app to check and yes predictions are some times wrong. We are currently in the process of introducing Anemometres with spreadsheets for garden hires that we can provide customers with. This will mean that on days where winds are slightly on the higher side that you will be required to take reading during the duration of your hire. In the event of unexpected / not forecasted light rain we do recommend keeping the unit running, however please cover the blower, cable and plugs from getting wet. Towel dry the steps and inflatable before use to avoid any children slipping. INCASE OF HIGH WINDS PLEASE STOP USING IMMEDIATELY AND CONTACT US. Please do be aware of any weather changes and use your common sense in these occasions. Please stop using the equipment if it becomes wet and do not use again until it has been dried off. It is you the hirer`s responsibility to ensure that all equipment remains undamaged. For any damage that occurs, the hirer will incur a repair charge, or may have to cover loss of earning and replacement. No items should be removed from delivery location unless its by our staff only.

 

Booking fees Booking fees are £15 for castle hire or £30 for packages to secure your date with remaining balance due 1 week before your party. Due to delays of upto 48 hours with business banking, outstanding balances cannot be paid the day before or on the day of hire. All bookings are subject to a hire agreement being signed on the day. Booking fees are non refundable  Payment of this fee reserves our staff time and the item for you and makes it unavailable for anyone else to book. It also goes towards our administration time to process your booking. This also includes outdoor hires if you take the risk with the weather. 

If the Government make changes that mean we are not allowed to operate we will offer a credit for the amount paid to us for use on another booking up to 12 months from the date of your original booking subject to availability. If we turn up to any home or venue and the area is not big enough or not cleared we would not be able to offer a refund, please check over all measurements in advance.

Soft play and ball pools are for indoor use only.  If TAKEN Outdoor hires are only taken between April and september We may request pictures of outdoor access and gardens to check they are suitable.
